Laufzeit: seit 2019

We analyse linguistic patterns in the interface between prosody and syntax focusing on the use and pronunciation of the comment clause I think. Our central research question is whether prosodic patterns like pitch contours or prominent syllables consistently co-occur with syntactic patterns such as the position of I think in the sentence or the retention or omission of the complementizer that after I think in sentence-initial position.
