Das Projekt untersucht inter-individuelle Betonungsvariation in komplexen Wörtern in Sprachproduktion und ‑perzeption. Ziel auf theoretischer Ebene ist es, ein adäquateres Modell morphophonologischer Kompetenz zu entwickeln, das die Rolle individuellen, durch sprachliche Erfahrungen resultierenden lexikalischen Wissens in entscheidender Form mit einbezieht.
